Concert in Seynod: on the outskirts of Annecy
18:00 — Seynod Town Hall Square, Annecy
Whether you’re a classical music lover or just passing through out of curiosity, make a note of this musical event!
The OSEL, the Louvain-La-Neuve Student Symphony Orchestra (OSEL), affiliated with UCLouvain University in Belgium, is the largest semi-professional and amateur orchestra in the French-speaking part of Belgium. Comprising roughly equal numbers of students and young professionals – around 80 musicians in total – it has been conducted by Philippe Gérard for over twenty years. Since 2003, OSEL has also served as a Cultural Ambassador for UCLouvain and has taken part in numerous international festivals (in Spain, Italy, France, Hungary, Latvia, Croatia, Slovenia…), representing both the university and Belgium.
For the final concert of our 2026 tour, the orchestra is delighted to share a magnificent programme with local residents and passing tourists alike.
